In this episode: We interview Danish filmmaker, David Noel Bourke. David just received U.S. distribution for his second feature film, No Right Turn. No Right Turn is a “character-based dreamy movie blending film noir, pulp, crime and fantasy”. No Right Turn will be released on Dec. 22nd, so buy yourself an early Christmas gift, or add it to your Netflix queue!
David shares some great tips on how to fund your film with a car loan, and how to find the right distributor that fits your film. David is an awesome guy, a talented filmmaker, and I know we’ll see great things from him in the future!
Well, the bad news is Christmas is over, but the good news is that there is a new episode of Death to the Movies! Hold the applause. I know it’s mid-January, but I just had to post this podcast because we were joined by our good friend and fellow podcaster DJ da Bomb from The DJ da Bomb Show Extravaganza! DJ da Bomb brings the energy and excitement from his politically-charged podcast over to Death to the Movies and we talk about Christmas movies that we love and hate. It’s a jolly ol’ time! I would encourage you to reach deep down into your soul and pull out that Christmas spirit and let it shine one last time as you listen to the Death to the Movies Love-Hate Christmas Special!

For our forth episode we are joined by Dustin Hudson who loves “Zack and Miri Make a Porno” but hates “The Departed” …huh? Yes, it’s true. And if you think that’s strange, it gets stranger… Jared and I actually agree on this podcast! Well, sort of.
Sorry for the looong delay on this podcast, it won’t happen again, I promise. We actually got ahead of ourselves and even recorded a Christmas podcast, but things got crazy busy and well Christmas is over now, isn’t it? We may still post it though, so don’t get confused when you see a Christmas podcast for Valentine’s Day. In cooler news, we got some filmmaker interviews coming up that you should definitely look forward to. Hooray!

This episode took a little while due to the holidays and technical difficulties (Jared having to call-in), but we are going to start doing more frequent podcast updates such as movie news and mini-reviews/recommendations so stay tuned!
Note: At the end of the podcast we mention a 40% off sale going on at the Criterion Collection website, unfortunately that sale has ended, but you should still check out www.criterionco.com to see all the cool new stuff they added to their site!

death2themovies Do D-Wade & Lebron dress each other? And isn't it odd that every b-ball player wears glasses now but none of them wear goggles on the court?
